Topic - Advanced DotNetNuke 5 Module Development

The possibilities are endless with DotNetNuke module development but a lot of times there is always the question of what needs to be written and what can be leveraged from the framework.  This presentation will explore some concepts of Advanced DotNetNuke Development including methods to handle multiple view controls while leaving all other modules visible (Module Isolation), helpful ClientAPI methods that add a level of usability to modules, as well as Library packaging and module dependencies.  The presentation will tie these aspects together to show how you can build reusable module frameworks and leverage the power of DotNetNuke.

About the Presenter

Mitchel SellersMitchel Sellers (MCITP, MCPD), is the CEO and Director of Development for IowaComputerGurus Inc, a Des Moines, Iowa based .NET Consulting Company.  Mitchel is a very active member in the .NET and DotNetNuke communities and spends a great deal of time participating in discussions on community sites, maintaining a collection of free DotNetNuke modules, and writing articles for his blog and other online/print resources.  He is the author of Professional DotNetNuke Module Programming due to be released March 2009, and is also the Team Lead for the Documents Module project.  When not working on development activities he enjoys traveling and motorcycling.
