Who: Joel Martines
Joel Martinez is a .NET developer who writes financial system software during the day and fights crime at night. Well, that was all a lie -- except for the financial system part, he does however dabble in game development with XNA on the side. You may also have a distant memory of him as the founder and past president of the Orlando .NET User Group. What:
Software development is about constantly learning, and developing your skills. Each new technique, or novel solution to a problem improves your overall effectiveness and value as a software developer/engineer. XNA Game Studio can help you experience those new techniques and solutions by exposing you to a different world of software engineering problems.
This session will be an overview of XNA Game Studio, and will show you just how easy it is to start making your very own games. Where: Orlando City Hall, 9th Floor
