The Application Developer is an integral position within Schenck Company that supports the needs of the custom, in-house databases and applications. Reporting to the Database and Development Manager, this position will be involved in maintenance of existing systems and development and creation of new needs.

The qualified candidate will have a proven track record in creating and supporting custom in-house databases and applications. This includes all development stages from identifying and describing data analysis needs to creating user accessible database interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the following required skills bases within an organization of ongoing growth and change.

Ability to work with the Database and Development Manager and other support functions within the IT Department as well as understanding of end users needs and ability to develop applications and databases for their use.

Required Skills:
Microsoft Visual Studio .Net

Microsoft Sharepoint Services

SQL Server 2005/2008 - T-SQL, Analysis Services

Web development - ASP.net
Internet Information Services (6.0)
