Volt Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting candidates for an exciting contract opportunity open with a top Defense and Simulation Company in the East Orlando area. These challenging roles are scheduled to last approximately 4 -5 months. We are looking for at least 2 great candidates for these opportunities to start ASAP!

Candidate will be responsible for implementing software designs, using an object oriented programming language. Expected to have detailed knowledge of data structures and a good understanding of object oriented concepts. Applicant will be responsible for design and implementation of major sub systems or components. Will work with a team of software engineers to develop production software under specified deadlines. Expected to follow specified coding standards and be able to work individually, as well as on a team. Good problem solving skills are required, with ability to demonstrate initiative.

Required skills:
Experience with developing applications using 'ASP.NET', 'VB.NET', 'C#'
Be able to design and maintain database applications using MS SQL Server and Oracle
Familiar with an agile software process
Familiar with creating unit tests
Revision control system (Subversion preferred)
Familiar with the .NET Nuke open source portal framework
Familiar with .NET 3.5 workflow

Desired skills:
Visual Studio .NET
IIS Server
Windows NT/2000/XP
Basic HTML
Experience working with an SOA type of system architecture

Must Have 3 years experience:
DotNetNuke – portal administration, DNN Module development and skinning/slicing
