Hello User Group Member:

Our meeting last night was really great!  All virtual and physical attendee comments so far are unanimous...  Janie "Calamity Jane" Whitty provided us with some really great information and scared the bee-jeez-us out of us all!  :)  It was great!  The video should be posted sometime this weekend, and I will post the handout from our speaker as soon as I receive it.  Once it's posted, it will be announced in the  What's New area on our website.

Meeting Tuesday, Jan. 6 @ 7:00 PM

Our next meeting brings Stan Schultes in to us from Sarasota to speak to us about module development in DotNetNuke® v5.00.00.  He is also a co-author of the Professional DotNetNuke 5 book due to release in February, by Wrox.  This presentation will certainly take up the full 2 hours, so plan accordingly.  If you know any DNN developers, let them know that this is a meeting that you should not miss!

We will have plenty of giveaways, and will be broadcasting LIVE from our website!  Please REGISTER at Code Zone to let us know you're attending, so we order enough food.  Don't forget!

TOMORROW!... MSDN Developer Conference - Orlando

The MSDN Developer Conference is tomorrow at the Rosen Centre in Orlando.  There is a $99 admission fee, but it is definitely worth the tiny investment.  ODUG will be at a table there.  Be sure to stop by and see us, and let me know if you want to volunteer some time at the table.  There will be door prizes and plenty of networking and cool information to go around, not to mention a BETA copy of Windows 7.  Register Now!

ODUG & DNN Announcements On The Website

There is a new feature on the ODUG website that is worth mentioning.  There is now an Announcements module in place that allows you to subscribe to ODUG and DNN news right from our website.  In addition, the module allows you to read the announcements right from your favorite RSS reader.  This way, you will never be uninformed of things that are going on in the ODUG or DNN.
