ODUG Meeting is NEXT TUESDAY

Our next meeting will be a FUN one! We are participating in the Microsoft Speaker Idol contest, calling ours "DotNetNuke Speaker Idol." Basically, you come to this meeting for 1 of 2 reasons: (1) come prepared to speak about anything related to DNN for up to 10 minutes; (2) you come see your fellow ODUG members present on their stuff and learn a TON!

Why do this? It's simple! You have a chance to win $200 and other great prizes. We will have a grand prize for this meetings winner!

This should be very fun, as you don't have to be an "expert" in anything. You just have to know what you're talking about for 5-10 minutes and show the rest of the group. We already have a few participants, but there's room for more. Please e-mail us or tweet us to let us know what you're going to talk about.

So far, we have topics such as:

• the Open Smart Module, by Brian Scarbeau
• Minimizing & Combining JavaScript on Build, by Mitch Labrador
• Localization, by Ron Miles
• the Basic Goodness of DotNetNuke, by Jim Begley

I am very excited to announce that we have Joe Brinkman, Brian Scarbeau, Paul Scarlett, and Joe Craig coming to speak to the ODUG next year.

Preparing for Day of DotNetNuke® 2010

We are going to need to prepare for the next Day of DotNetNuke®. Planning needs to start in January. Please let me know if you're interested in being on the DoDNN Board to help plan and execute the event.
