Mike Webb talks about his companies modules at our 2nd meeting  (United States)
Modified By Michael Webb on 3/2/2008 12:37:37 PM)

We had a good turnout today for our 2nd user group meeting. There were some new faces and we appreciated those members who came back for our 2nd meeting. Thanks to Mike Webb from DNNSpired.com he reviewed all the modules that his company sells and the ones that his company gives away free as well.  Mike gave a live demo and showed us some cool features that his company has added on to the Users Online module and several others as well. Check out his site to see what his company has. Mike is very helpful to new or experienced DotNetNuke users. He is a strong believer on giving back to the DNN community.

There's going to be a group of us going to the Orlando Code Camp on March 22 at Seminole Community College in Heathrow, FL.  There will be several free sessions on DotNetNuke during the day.

We hope to see you there and at our next meeting on April 5th. You won't want to miss that one because our own Will Strohl will be teaching us the tips of skinning our sites.

Finally, thanks to Active Modules Inc. for donating the ActiveForums modules which they sell on their site. One lucky member won a license for the Standard edition ($80 value) today at our meeting.

Also, thanks to Shawn Weisfeld, leader of the Orlando .Net User group for attending our meeting and giving us his support.
