The ODUG had a great meeting on September 3rd. It was our first meeting for several months, and there was certainly some excitement in the room. We were fortunate to have had the support of a large handful of sponsors who donated things like door prizes, food & beverages, the meeting space, and more. You can visit our sponsors page to learn more about our sponsors.
We broke 2 ODUG records this month. We had the most people attend and register for our meeting in the history of the ODUG. 24 people registered to attend the meeting, and 17 people attended. That is outstanding!
Besides eating some yummy pizza supplied by TekPartners, the first thing we did was go over some ODUG news. One of the items that we decided upon was to move the meetings to Tuesdays instead of Wedesdays. All meetings but one have already been rescheduled.
Then we went into the session. I happened to be the presenter for this meeting, and I covered DotNetNuke® Administration. Basically, I went over a large handful of the common things we may have to do in order to efficiently manage a DotNetNuke® instance. As we like to do, the session quickly turned into a round table discussion. I think many people received some great information.
Finally, we went into the door prizes. The following sponsors donated prizes for our members:
