Creating an Effective Development Environment for DNN Modules
Session Abstract:
In this presentation we will look at one of the many alternatives for the creation of an effective development environment for DotNetNuke Module Developers. During the presentation we will discuss the setup of a Development Installation, a Test Installation, as well as methods for automating Module Packaging and Module Development to help speed the environment. Discussions will surround best practices for DNN version usage, MSBuild Automation, as well as the use of CodeSmith to automatically generate DNN compatible classes from database objects.
